Personality: Stryker is a level-headed individual who typically thinks before acting. He's rather snarky, mostly due to the lashing he got back in the day when nobody liked him. He's much like his game character persona. He's good at making plans and can take care of himself in a fight. Being in a violent game has made him conflicted with fighting and what's right, though.

History: Stryker started off as a highly disliked character in the Mortal Kombat series when he made his debut in MK3. The other fighters ridiculed him. He was out of shape, wore a backwards cap, and pretty much everyone in the game wanted to just throw him out. The next Mortal Kombat game he appeared in was Armageddon with an all new upgrade.
Everyone still hated him and hoped he fell off a bridge and died.
Kurtis was depressed for quite some time. When news of another Mortal Kombat game came around, however, he had another shot at redemption. He was modified and upgraded once more, becoming the modern day Stryker we know today. For once, more than a handful of people actually liked him. He finally had a place amongst the other Kombatants and players. Ironically, the well-received Sindel became hated by players, which earned her some of Kurt's sympathy.
When war came around, Stryker decided to risk it all and join the heroes.
Plans: A love interest might be nice.SonyaxStryker shipper here. Maybe work his way up the ladder of authority? Other than that, he's fair game.
Sample Post: Guns? Check. Grenades? Check. Taser? Check. Everything was good to go for Kurtis. The cop looked in the mirror, inspecting himself for quite some time. He needed to give himself that extra motivation. The extra push he needed. He'd died once before. Alright, he died several times before, but not a single one of those deaths were real. This? This wasn't an act. It was real life. Steel eyes stared back at him as he studied the mirror. Time to invigorate himself.
"Kurtis Stryker. You need to go out there and prove yourself again. You did it once before. You can do it again. Got it?" he whispered to himself, hoping to inspire himself. He readjusted his hat that revealed only a portion of his dirty blonde hair. He stepped back from the mirror and took a deep breath.
Today was the day everything was going to change.
