(ooc: March 2nd, open to all who want to play around with some magic.)
Merlina chanted the old words of magic used by previous generations of magic users. "No, no, no. That can't be it." The girl sighed to herself, taking seat in a small chair inside her tent. "If grandfather were here, what would he do?" That's when it occurred to her, that she was only programmed to believe that the legendary wizard was her elder. It was frustrating really, coming from a character that wished she had more to work with than with what she currently had.
"Oh, that's right he doesn't exist." She told herself, not outloud. "Even if he isn't real, he still wouldn't want me to give up right?" She asked herself before standing upwards and went over to where her book was sitting wide open, with faded aged pages and thick binding.
She took a small breath. "Alright, let's try this one more time." She recited some wording in Old English before staring at a nearby apple sitting on her bed. "Levetatus!" She exclaimed and concentrated hard as the fruit slowly rise to the air. Yes, it was a rather basic spell, but the aspiring wizard was using it as a warm up. Who knew what spells this was would call for. "Huh?" Concentration was broken and Merlina turned around at the sound of noise, apple dropping back on the bedsheets. "Who goes there?" She asked, reassuring that it was nothing since none of the heroes were a threat to her personal safety.
"Abracadabra~"
